In my 9.04 runs perfect. Nice application. Now I have direct control of my usb sound without editing the Volume Applet! Great post!

Only one problem: volume steps are too coarse and I didn't find a way to refine it. Any idea?

1) Is this working with the pulseaudio LIRC module ?

2 ) If yes, would it show an on-screen notification when changing volume that way ?

This program seems a DREAM for living room media centers, but to be completely perfect it needs the 2 points above to be true.

Nice program.

One minor problem: After installing both menu and startup applications items are incorrect (on my 9.04). They both try to start earcandy and not ear_candy.

Once changed they work correctly.

Thanks but doesn't seem to work. I get this error, even though I had installed the repisotory.

sudo apt-get install earcandy
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package earcandy
