ubuntu linux 10.04 ctrl-alt-backspace ??

Restart with alt-SysRq-K works for me.
No re-programming required. I’m using GNOME 2.30.2

For the command line, it’s

setxkbmap -option terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp

to enable Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.
