		<description>After this mod, my lucid locked up at Plymouth screen, and would not boot. Had to recover /etc/X11/xorg.conf to previous condition to re enable Ubuntu bootup.

It is unlikely that anyone new to Ubuntu would have been able to rectify this condition, and would be left with an unusable PC.

Any suggested modifications such as this should carry a warning and detailed instructions of how to undo the modifications from the (normal boot) unbootable machine</description>
