Anyone knows a good program like that but with undo support?
I am using my notebook without a mouse (forgot at home) and with just a unfortunate tap in the touchpad while I was typing made me lose all the content of a big task and all its subtaks.

We'll try to better explain those in the next release.
The "link to Tomboy" plugin lets you put clickable links to a tomboy note in a task. It's pretty much the same as any link on the web, except it opens a tomboy note instead of a web page.
Usage example:
I keep my grocery list in tomboy, and I have the task in GTG "buy groceries". From the task, I can easily open the tomboy note.

For cheetah: sudo apt-get install python-cheetah

I like GTG very much - both the premise underlying it and the clean, efficient interface that implements it.

Not sure anyone will read this a year after the original post but I would like to ask about plugins. I don't see much documentation. What does the link to Tomboy do? The export plugin says I need python cheetah to support it. What is the best way to get it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello guys,
I'm one of the developers of GTG.
Three things:
- thanks for the blog post
- you can get the *very* latest version of gtg here:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~invernizzi/+archive/gtg-daily
-the screenshot you posted is not really up to date with the development of gtg. Now it looks much better.
Bye!
