Please update this article for Ubuntu 10.04.

I knew that adding deb http://ubuntu.global-web.us/hardy binary/ was wrong for lucid, so I tried:
deb http://ubuntu.global-web.us/lucid binary/

and then tried do a apt-get update. The update failed. I'm not sure how to resolved this.

Had the same problem. To get lame-extras download it from here:
http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/multiverse/l/lame/

and then just do a dpkg -i

It didn't work for me. I got these error messages:
desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install flv2dvd
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
flv2dvd: Depends: lame-extras but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Hi, Venhow, you can try Aunsoft flv converter to convert flv to rmvb or rm ,
With high quality and easy to use.
But this program can convert flv to dvd format, but can't burn to DVD Disc playing on DVD player,
Does flv2dvd can do that?

Additionally, if you use DEVEDE it will natively accept the flv files when you make menus with it. Simply add the files and name the menu title. It also has a gui which is easily used.
