Amazing! Ubuntu browsing is alive on the WWW again! Ive been painfully suffering since moving to 10.04…

Any similar fix for increasing download speeds using browser applications like DownLoaderHelper?

This DOES work!

For a while I thought:

Firefox - find link in 1 sec, load page in 5 min
Chrome - load page in 1 sec, find link in 5 min

With this fix firefox has become the best again! Don’t switch to chrome (for speed reasons) before you’ve tried this!!!

THIS IS A HELL OF A FIX !

Strugglin’ for months with this problem and it seemed to get slower from day to day. Till yesterday, when webbrowsing was totaly shutdown.

Wasn’t able to identify the problem. Thought it was a networking problem in the wifi or something.

Keep publishing fixes. Damn importend.

Fantastic, it now works. I have been using Chromium but i have missed firefox as its been boken for over a year. (10.04 and 10.10) Fix works a treat.
