correction: sudo apt-get remove kde-nightly

Found it to be slow and buggy, removed by:

sudo apt-get kde-nightly
sudo apt-get autoremove

Some updates to qt4 broke smplayer and vlc for me.

I agree the 4.1 version of KDE that shipped with 8.10 i found terrible i doubt 4.2 could be anymore buggy.

Worked well on my installation, however firefox looks kinda bad with the default theme. Also my volume is too low, how can I make it louder?

Thanks for making this available. It worked well and, so far, I’m impressed. It is so much better than kde4.1 that came with kubuntu 8.10.

@If you want to try i would suggest just use your test system and if you try on your production system it might mess up

How easy is it to revert to gnome? Or does it let you choose what to use?
I would love to try it but I am afraid to mess up my gnome installation…

Did exactly as written but says it can’t be found when you run the terminal command.
