Ubuntu is available for download free of charge but I think if you have limited bandwidth then there is a slight problem downloading it, and better yet try to install it using from cd copy.

Everything works when I run the installer, but when I try to actually run the app, I get the following alert box and then it dies:

LOAD_EXTENSIONS_FAIL

xml-http-request

I'd love to get this working, as I'm interested in making my own Gadget for distribution. Any help forthcoming would be greatly appreciated.
