Download all deb's, place them into a folder on your desktop, let's call it "deb".
First you need to install the following dependencies
sudo aptitude install python-glade2 python-launchpad-integration hwdb-client-gnome libdbus-1-dev libhal-storage1 libhal-dev
Once you install the above packages do the following
cd /home/user/Desktop/deb/
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
(Where user is obviously your user name) And you should be home free. You will probably want to reboot before everything works correctly.
Where is the download?

To be clear here I think you are talking about a nano and not a shuffle
Have these changes/fixes been incorporated in the later debian/ubuntu releases? Or are they still required? My nano is recognized, but during the file transfer from Amarok it gets disconnected, leaves the associated mount point directory hung up, then tries to re-mount it with a new mount point (adding “-1” at the end). This totally confuses Amarok. Any help appreciated.
