i cant run it on ubuntu 8.04 64bits :S

@anon because a lot of us remove totem (IT SUCKS!!!) .
minitube is lightweight simple to use.

i have one question: why?

totem can do this (see the default plugins and activate the youtube one) and comes as gnome’s default video player

I am getting:
Phonon error: “A required codec is missing. You need to install the following codec(s) to play this content: text/html” 2

when I am trying to run minitube.
Any help.
