Thanks, but i already did that once when i got my Intrepid (courtesy: shipit.com), and i can easily upgrade (again), to Jaunty, but at the moment i have reason to be suspicious of ext4 and it’s a relief to know that the default is still ext3.

If you want an ext4 file system, then you must do a fresh install and opt to manually configure the partitions

Bill, the default is still to use ext3, and if you upgrade your current system it will remain ext3.

If you want an ext4 file system, then you must do a fresh install and opt to manually configure the partitions.

instead of ext 3 when I install it we have to use ext 4 how about when I upgrade which is installed now installed on ext3
