i m unabe to download pytube and also getting this erron when update source list
help…………

Also getting the “Incompatible Link” error. In the terminal, I get the error “There is a problem with URL or this clip requires login.” even when I’ve verified the link and logged in to YouTube through PyTube.

pytube habe ich sauber installiert bekommen, flv dateien wandelt dieses tool in mp3 um. die optionen ffmeg sox usw gefunden. das einzige was nicht funktioniert das pytube keine download von youtube macht. wer kennt sich aus woran es liegen kann. danke in voraus whoopy84

From youtube converted to anything, it processes the file is 0 bytes.

Also, although the text indicates that Google videos are supported, it immediately goes to “Done” even though nothing has been created.

Like the others, I found that even though all the dependencies were satisfied, I could not encode to mp4 or 3gp. I then tried the Theora format, and success, but it seems very slow and there’s no indication of how long it may take, or even where you are in the encoding process!

Point of this post however is to highlight what to me is the utterly stupid placement and shoddy implementation of the “Delete Original File” tab - clicking anywhere (accidently, in my case!) on the entire row its tab occupies in the menu, activates it! Worse, the file is deleted permanently, without comment, instead of being moved to the Wastebasket, so there’s no way of undoing the mistake!! It has just deleted over 200meg of a video I had just downloaded!

Hey guys no problems on install or repos here..but I am getting empty files on reported succesful completion of encoding..please help. Doesnt seem to matter what I am encoding to or from.
Appreciate any help

well, same message here. And, if you try to convert to .3gp nothing happens (OS : Ibex). Seems to be the missing ffmpeg in the medibuntu repo….

Any solutions about this?

Nice tool,
but is there something similar to convert AUDIO files? For example from mp3 to aac? SoundConvert is a mess, because one cannot configure AAC profiles and bitrates as I want to.
