I have always installed Ubuntu BETAs since 7.10, they all were rather stable and I never failed to get the upgrade/install to the final releases, in several computers (Pentium II, PIII, PIV, dual and quad-cores and an EEEPC). Once the final version was available, all my systems upgraded without an itch.</description>
