Unity Tweak Tool is Unity configuration tool that aims to expose all the most needed Unity, Compiz, Appearance and Desktop settings in one interface to rule them all.

Install unity tweak tool in ubuntu 12.10

Open the terminal and run the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freyja-dev/unity-tweak-tool-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool

    Oops, missed that little detail. I guess there is a good and bad side to going with the LTS versions. They tend to be more stable (in my opinion), but not all the new goodies are backwards compatible.
