Just wondering if Amarok used to play .rm files on its own without any codecs manually downloaded and installed .With Hardy , I had trouble playing rm files with Amarok and it used to get - in layman terms - STUCK. I will have to kill the app and re-launch for any mp3's. But with Ibex , when I clicked an rm file ( i had kept the file association .rm to be opened by some other player .. i guess totem) Amarok started playing it flawlessly. They added something ?
