Great file manager.
For some reason all file managers in linux sux in one way or another.
One gripe with this one too. How do I navigate panes etc. with the keyboard?
Huh, Konqueror, Dolphin & Krusader in KDE already have this feature. They even go beyond that to furnish multiple tabs. Konqueror and Krusader even offer vertical and horizontal window splits. This manager still has a lot to catch.
@Abe
4Pane has those features too: see the fourth and fifth screenshots at http://www.4pane.co.uk/Screenshots.htm
@troost
You can’t atm. Why not? Because I’m a mouse, not a keyboard, person (I’d even forgotten to provide mnemonics until this release).
However I don’t think it would be difficult to implement, if you want it. Where would you want to navigate *to*, though: the partner pane? the opposite pane? both? And what would you want to do when you got there? Just already-available things like ctrl-C, ctrl-V, or something else I’ve not thought of?
I took a look at it and quickly decided to remove it from my system. My current go-to is Krusader.
Thanks about good working advice!
