GNOME Shell – Ambiance Theme

This is a GNOME Shell theme based on the Ubuntu Lucid theme called Ambiance.
Features:

Curved panel and various elements.

Translucency support.

Shadow support.

Ubuntu Empathy like chat theme for the chat area.

Themed notifications.

Transitions and hover and click states.

Notes:

My "recent items" seem to be broken, so it may not be themed properly because I cannot do this currently.

This theme is based on GNOME Shell 2.31.4.

Installation Instructions:

Backup your /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme directory.

Extract the theme.zip and copy the theme directory to /usr/share/gnome-shell/

Restart GNOME Shell by Alt, F2, then type r and press enter.

    i am not able to copy the theme folder to the gnome shell/theme folder.there is no paste option for me when i click right button.

    Right click – Properties, and check the permissions on that folder

    you are not the owner so you cannot change these permissions.
    i am getting this in the permission tab.

    you need to browse as root before changing the permissions dewd.
    $ sudo nautilus
    do it from there but be careful when browsing as root you dont delete and edit stuff because you could stuff it all up real good.
