Crashes in Hardy 8.04 RC.
Another day and Hardy will be released.
Thanks,
Bruce
Thanks for Ubuntu Tweak on Gutsy. I’d like to point out that on Hardy 8.04, the system settings have been improved enough that this software isn’t required. With Gutsy, it was useful for easy access to settings, however with the newer Ubuntu it is really not required, I’m not sure what version ‘Hardy 8.04 RC’ is. I upgraded from 7.10 and recieved a message
‘Sorry! Ubuntu Tweak can only run on Ubuntu 7.04 or 7.10’.
Anyway, thanks for a really useful application to keep me onboard waiting for 8!
I have this application successfully set up in Ubuntu 8.04.1 I used the very first option to install.
For Intrepid use the following commands
wget http://ubuntu-tweak.googlecode.com/files/ubuntu-tweak_0.4.6-1~intrepid1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i ubuntu-tweak_0.4.6-1~intrepid1_all.deb
Very nice, just to let anyone know it has been updated to include the newest version of ubuntu. even the beta version 9.10 Have fun
