    seems it was not ok
    i get a
multivnc: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_gtk2u_richtext-2.8.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    going to report it

  3. Chriskin-Have not tried the viewer but am wondering if using getlibs on the AMD64 install would fix this. You can run getlibs against the vnc binary and it should get the 32bit library it needs. May work… Not sure.

  4. Yup it works with getlibs. Download the 32bit version and install it with a –force-architecture and then run getlibs against the program binary. Getlibs will download 2 32bit libraries that the program needs. Fires right up after that. Looks nice!

I tried out MultiVNC for windows and it’s nice

It sucks I can’t auto-hide the toolbars after a connection is made to my Ubuntu 11.10 Box.

Also – the instructions on setting up a VNC Server by Ubuntu leave a lot to be desired, they’re impractical and even impossible to the novice. I’d like to see a guide from MultiVNC.
