Reminder-ng it is a reminder application for GNOME which allows you to manage reminders, and alerts the user when they expire.

Install Reminder-ng in Ubuntu

You need to download .deb packages (For 32 and 64 bit users) from here

Once you download you should be having .deb package to install this open terminal and run the following command

For 32 bit users

sudo dpkg -i reminder-ng_0.2-3_i386.deb

For 64 bit users

sudo dpkg -i reminder-ng_0.2-3_amd64.deb

    I get:
    dpkg: error processing reminder-ng_0.2-3_i386.deb (–install):
    cannot access archive: No such file or directory
    Errors were encountered while processing:
    reminder-ng_0.2-3_i386.deb
