Banshee should NOT be used anywhere ever.

It is written in Mono which is a legal bullseye for Microsoft. Use it only if yo, down the road, want to pay license fees without getting anything in return.

Microsoft has patents on certain parts of .NET.
While Mono does also implement non-ecma parts of .NET/C#.

Don’t use Banshee or any other Mono-based program!
It makes Linux extortion able by Microsoft.

qdsgblads: Seriously, shut the hell up and quit spreading your fear ridden crap. I’ve viewed and written some Banshee code myself and am well versed enough to see that you’re full of shit.

I’m glad to see great apps being promoted. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.
