Tribler is an application that enables its users to find, enjoy and share content. With content we mean video, audio, pictures, and much more. Tribler is a social community that facilitates filesharing through a peer-to-peer (p2p) network. A p2p network is different from a centralised service, where every user downloads his files from one central server. With p2p, the user/downloader is also an uploader to another user. This way, there is no central computer required that provides every file to all users.

Pipelight, which allows to run your favorite Silverlight application directly inside your Linux browser. The project combines the effort by Erich E. Hoover with a new browser plugin that embeds Silverlight directly in any Linux browser supporting the Netscape Plugin API. He worked on a set of Wine patches to get Playready DRM protected content working inside Wine and afterwards created an Ubuntu package called Netflix Desktop. This package allows one to use Silverlight inside a Windows version of Firefox, which works as a temporary solution but is not really user-friendly and moreover requires Wine to translate all API calls of the browser. To solve this problem we created Pipelight.

LinSSID is graphically and functionally similar to Inssider (Microsoft™ Windows®). It is written in C++ using Linux wireless tools and Qt4.
LinSSID displays the information available from iwlist tool in graphical format. LinSSID displays a table of all of the local wireless networks that your device can receive, and information about them. It also displays charts of the signal strength of each network by channel number and over time. LinSSID will work with more than one wireless device attached to a system, but only one at a time (selectable).
