Install Ubuntu B-side in ubuntu 9.10 (karmic)
Run the following command
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:b-sides/ppa
Update the source list
sudo apt-get update
install b-sides package
Source from here

When I did the last step, I got this response:
bash: apt://b-sides: no such file or directory
I’m a newbie. What’s wrong?
Which ubuntu version you are using? This will support only ubuntu karmic
Hi
I also get the same results. Running 9.10
Thanks in advance
Rick
Try to install using the following comamnd
sudo apt-get install b-sides
Try to download .deb package from here https://launchpad.net/~b-sides/+archive/ppa/+build/1372662/+files/b-sides_0.9.7_all.deb
Install this package using the following comamnd
sudo dpkg -i b-sides_0.9.7_all.deb
Can you publish the repository key and instructions for manually adding it? I am behind a fw that blocks access to the keyserver. Thanks.
Thank you so much
sudo apt-get install b-sides did the trick
Cheers
Rick
At the moment this will support only karmic so if you use the tutorial it will install all the required keys
A short description for every application would be usefull.
+1 for descriptions
Thanks installed perfectly and looks good.
the
apt://b-sides
is a link you click on in firefox.. it will install the package. its a new feature in 9.10
its NOT a command you type in at the shell.
