Install DeaDBeeF 0.5.2 in ubuntu using PPA

DeaDBeeF (as in 0xDEADBEEF) is an audio player for GNU/Linux, BSD, OpenSolaris and probably other UNIX-like systems.

Install DeaDBeeF 0.5.2 in ubuntu

Open the terminal and run the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alexey-smirnov/deadbeef
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install deadbeef

    Tried to install this in 12.04 and I got this:

    W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/alexey-smirnov/deadbeef/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found

    There are not yet packages released for 12.04 on this ppa.
