Submin provides a web-based admin interface to your svn repositories.

Submin Features

User/group management
User/group permissions management per path
SVN repositories creation
Config files for apache2 cgi and wsgi created automatically
Authentication via htpasswd/svn authz
Authentication synced to svn (and trac)

Note: IE6 is not supported

Install submin on ubuntu

open /etc/apt/sources.list file

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Add the following line

deb http://debian.supermind.nl/ current main

Save and exit the file

Need to add the key

sudo wget -q -O -- http://supermind.nl/debian.key | apt-key add --

Update the source list

sudo apt-get update

Install submin

sudo apt-get install submin

    Yes, right… and how to proceed then?
    Everyone can install the program. After that it seems that it is just not working and it never has as far as I can see.

    There are three additional steps: 1) create a submin repository 2) configure apache server 3) log in for the first time!
