Beep Media Player
MP, or Beep Media Player, is a compact media player that was originally forked from XMMS with the goal of porting XMMS
to GTK2 and make use of more modern desktop standards. The original XMMS is based on GTK 1.2, which is now deprecated for roughly 4 years, and was deprecated at the time of the fork for approximately 2 years. This, and the fact that the developers were developing XMMS under a mostly cathedral-style model led M. Derezynski to fork BMP from XMMS.

Any of these players have the option to show the language of the song?
My favourite player for Ubuntu is VLC Player. It is a highly stable platform independent one that can also be used as a converter & supports formats like Wave, DivX, MPEG, MP3, OGG, AAC and many more. http://ubuntumanual.org/posts/360/best-of-the-lot-my-top-5-media-players-for-ubuntu

can’t install any of those players. i always get that response. how do i fix this? pls help 🙁
I test most of theses players. The best from GTK is audacious. But I found that it fall if you play directory with more than ~8000 files (tested with version 3.3.2).
sometimes
My final those is qmmp because:
1) this player is fastest if compare his playback with audacious.
2) qmmp not fall with directories with 45000
