when the wallpaper changes i get one or two seconds of a dark red screen, is there any way to make changes between wallpapers smooth (hate to make the comparison but it just makes me do it : “like windows does”)

I have a issue similar to Chriskin. In my case, my pc freezes for few seconds. No matter what its a great program.

Too many QT and KDE dependencies.

I’m having problems with Wally 2.3.2 under Linux Mint 8. It installed without errors and it starts up and runs in the system tray, as it should. The problem is that the application doesn’t actually switch the desktop bitmap. (kind of deal killer, at least for me)

I’m running this under WinXP, as well, without any issues. (So, I think I’ve got a handle on the correct operation of the application.)

Anyone else having this issue with Mint 8 or Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala?

    Thanks!

@bill I had to enable auto switch on startup in the options so it actually changed the bg image
