This tutorial will expalin how to create new user and disable user account in ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot).Some times users having multiple accounts is necessary.In Ubuntu you can create new users as per the requirements.Creating new user in Ubuntu will help the administration to have safety with its files and application.

You can search user in the dash board to get "User Accounts" (For Unity users) Double click on "User Accounts" or Open the “System Settings” from the Left panel(for Unity user) or go to the top right corner of your desktop and click on “user account name”(for Gnome 3 users)

Once it opens “Unlock” button and give account password.Now click on plus(+) button to create new user account.

Now this will prompt for authentication password

You need to select account type,full name and user name

Once account created this will be disabled by default now you need to select set a password now option under action field

Disable and delete new user account in ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot)

You need to select user account and on your right hand side click next to password field you should see the following screen here under action fileld you can select "Disable this account" option

Delete user account in ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot)

Select user account you want to delete and click on -- sign this will prompt screen to confirm dletion of files here click on delete files this will delete the account and remove all the files related to it.

    by installing from Software Center the gnome-system-tools package

    or sudo apt-get install gnome-system-tools

    Except that it doesn’t work. Totally fresh installation of 12.04 clicking on the plus sign and nothing happens. Big bug.
