  1. Whoah! Thanks big time for this! It worked in my kubuntu just fine. It’s the first time I’ve been in MSN on Ubuntu in a long long time.

  2. Does this install Pidgin on top of Gaim which comes with Ubuntu? I have Gaim installed from Ubuntu 6.10 and recently upgraded to 7.04. I read somewhere that Pidgin replaces certain Gaim files. Do I need to uninstall Gaim first before installing Pidgin? And if I uninstall Gaim, it also removes 2 other packages (ubuntu-desktop or something). Could someone please help?

  3. You have to uninstall GAIM. If you run the install it will tell you.

BTW: Author should update the wget to get the new version.
