What about Real-media formats (rm, rmvb)?

From my experience, Mplayer can play Real files quite well. (I use Mplayer from Medibuntu repo.)

  7. Exaile would make a wonderful addition to this list. It plays WMA/AAC/MP3/OGG/FLAC, has a beautiful GUI, and offers an easy in-program tagging option.

    Thanks!

How about adding these to the list:

  15. Robin says:

Interesting page but I have one problem. AVI’s are carriers to different codecs. It would be more useful to know the codecs supported. Also support for 32 bit is different for 64 bit.

I have run into this at home. Videos that play in 32 bit won’t play in 64 bit due to codec support.

    Indeo codecs are one example.
