Install vlc 2.0 in ubuntu

Open the terminal and run the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc2
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install vlc

  2. Yes, it only works for 11.10 or later, I guess you could download the tar file and install from that, but I will just wait until it hits the repositories, or until I upgrade.
